I could not have been more pleased with my pre-op visit. Everyone from the front desk staff to Dr. Phillips were incredibly kind. He spent more time with me than I had ever imagined he would discussing my back and what my options were, what the risks were and I never felt pressure to make a decision. His PA Sarah was extremely knowledgeable and kind and spent additional time with me after Dr. Phillips left the room. Here’s hoping the surgery goes well!!! I have full confidence in Dr. Phillips and his staff!!
After my diagnosis of spondylolisthesis I began treating with Dr. Phillips in 2012. He told me then, that when I am ready to have surgery i will know... He never pushed me to make up my mind... He would see me when I had flare ups. After years of back pain and scared to have surgery in December 2024 I decided to have my L4 - L5 fusion with instrumentation. Today I am basically pain free. I haven't felt this good since 2009.
Dr. Phillips is truly amazing. Extremely professional knowledgeable experienced and took the time to explain the entire process. I would 100% put my trust in Dr. Phillips moving forward to do my fusion surgery. The entire staff were courteous, helpful & very positive vibe . Definitely would recommend anyone considering orthopedic surgery to seek Dr. Phillips and the professionals at RUSH University.
