I had appointment today 9/11/23@8:00am with Dr. Phillip . Someone called from his office on Friday & said I have to call insurance & update my PCP but i been seen him last few year already . I did call n make sure & update his name & had reference number . Lady on front desk refused to take me and said my PCP is not updated yet I have to reschedule. It’s really disappointing and unprofessional attitude. I been waiting on 3 month & now they refused to see me . All of my medications almost out & Dr. Don’t care about it .
Scheduled an appointment and waited a month only to be told the week of he would not be seeing me due to a "no cash patients" rule of his, yet I was told that he does see cash patients on the initial call. I personally feel an exception should have been made due to the extremely late notice. I was then offered to see a nurse practitioner but I'd again have to wait another month, I did not want to risk wasting my time again so I am going elsewhere. Dr. Ramirez has been very kind and listened to my issues without rushing me in and out like other Dr.s have done in the past. Nothing but a great experience with him and his office staff..
I did like the initial visit I had with Dr. Ramirez and my issues are not with him but with the staff that answers the phone and makes appointments. . I called today to make an appointment. Explained my issues and was told he could not see him for two weeks, but could see a PA. I have not had good luck with PAs Explained that the issue I was having sent me to the emergency room last time this happened. Her response was, well I'm trying to accommodate you...which I had told her i didnt want to see a PA...the way they speak to... read more
This is probably the first doctor I've had that I feel like listens thoroughly to my concerns and responds thoroughly as well. He handles my anxiety well and is extremely reassuring. He was referred to me by a coworker and i wouldn't hesitate to refer him as well.
