Dr Smucker has been so important to me and my health. He initially helped me with an issue with my spine. His guidance helped me tremendously. I did not have surgery and my pain disappeared. Then through an incidental finding, it was discovered that I had a skull based golf ball sized brain tumor. This knowledgeable, direct and compassionate doctor guided me to the right neurosurgeon who specialized in this complex surgery. The dangerous surgery was 100 percent successful. I highly recommend this amazing leader in his field!

Dr. Smucker is one of the best doctors I have ever been to/ and I am getting up there in age! He was direct, thorough and compassionate. I never felt rushed He had eye contact and answered every question I had in great detail. He has excellent communication skills! Dr. Smucker is the best doctor I've seen in years. He treats the whole person, with eye contact and excellent communication. He has done two surgical procedures for me, both with excellent results. I recommend him highly!

This was my initial televisit in the time of Covid. Dr. Smucker explained very thoroughly the results of my MRI. I suffer from Sciatica and he explained in great understandable detail what is causing it. He explained my options based on my insurance coverage. I will begin with PT and additional tests then meet with him personally in 8 weeks. The surgical option was made clear if required. We both agreed to try relief other than surgery first. I had a double-laminectomy in July of 2019 to relieve sciatic nerve pain in my butt and leg. After surgery, I no longer have the night pain or pain while walking that I did before. In my opinion this man is a miracle maker. He also did surgery on my Husband's back with fantastic results and I have already recommended him to several people that are experiencing back pain. Great experience. After seeing three previous doctors I decided to go with Dr smucker. Dr preformed back surgery with in hours of recovery I felt no more pain .

Very poor communication skills, and even with MRI's he decided I was faking. I would never trust him to operate on me for sure.

Dr. Smucker performed my spinal fusion surgery and I would recommend him to anyone. I visited 2 different doctors before selecting Dr. Smucker to do my surgery. He opted the least invasive way to do the surgery, and at 3 months my pain level is almost negligible. While I was not that impressed when I first met him, the day of surgery and the followup visit certainly changed my opnion. Highly recommend! Would select him is I need another spinal surgery.
