Phil is a typical shady contractor. He hires the cheapest subcontractors possible and enforces strict corner cutting. When he quotes you the wrong price despite arguing with him that he's wrong about ac size, he sticks to the quoted price and preaches about how he is a good contractor that takes care of his customers. But as soon as you're out of earshot, he tells his shady guys to cut corners so he doesn't lose too much.
