Dr. Philip McWhorter repaired an extensive post-robotic abdominal surgery problem with the skill, professionalism and candor that one rarely experiences in today's 15 minutes for a new patient / 7 minutes for an existing patient / by the numbers medical care environment. Dr Philip McWhorter is world class on every level.
Fantastic doctor. Treated me in an emergency room situation and then admission to Greenwich Hospital and did everything he could do to not have to operate and was successful in that regard. In a very stressful situation his fantastic bedside manner and personality, not to mention his credentials and experience, go a long way in insuring trust and confidence. If I ever need surgery, he's the man.
Dr mc shorter left hospital before I came out of anaesthesis, visited hospital once the week I was admitted, told ridiculous story from news, left before I could learn what happened to me. He was clearly embarrassed but fled the scene of the accident. I found him to be arrogant and dismissive.
