From my first appointment with Dr. Basala, he made me feel comfortable. Dr. Basalsa, is very through and explains my medical condition clearly. For the first time Dr. Basala, is a Doctor,I Trust completely for medical decisions for my care. I can’t say enough for Dr. Basala. Dr. Basala’s staff is very courteous, kind and always helpful.
Dr. Basala is very understanding and listened to what I had to say. When ordering a prescription he checked what my copay would be and if I could afford it be before he sent it to the pharmacy. Highly recommend Dr. Basala.

Dr. Basala saved my life when I delivered my first child in October of 1987 and I was hemorrhaging because my cervix tore. I am thankful to be alive, just wanted to give him credit here. I also went on to work as an OB/GYN RN after that. Thank you, Dr. Basala ??
I have been a patient of Dr Basala’s for 12 years or so. I recommend him highly. He and his staff are all very caring and professional. I travel 2 1/2 hours to get to Somerset from State College and he is always willing to listen and help. Not the typical in and out in 5 minutes. He takes plenty of time and treats you like a real person, not a medical ID number. I would travel 6 hours if I had to to continue my treatment with he and his staff. I highly recommend him.
He was extremely disrespectful and lacked knowledge in many areas that a physician should know in the field of gynecology. Made innapropriate and offensive comments personal beliefs unrelated to medical treatment.
