RE - Philadelphia Memorial Park, Malvern PA. As parents we had the sad and unfortunate job of burying two sons over the past 25 years. When our first son died at age 12, the representatives of Phila Memorial Park we very compassionate of our situation in finding a plot and having everything arranged for a funeral within 3 days of his death. NO COOPERATION, NO INFORMATION – I found out through some Genealogy research that my Great Grandparents and several of their family had been removed from the Old German Lutheren cemetery in Philadelphia and reintered at this place in a separate section of the cemetery. When I asked for information about the burial site I was directed to the section but there were no visable grave markers. No Way – Prepaid lot? No problem unless you happened to want to be buried on a Saturday. If this is the case, add 20% additional expense. $2500 for the lots, $585 for Saturday internment. These people are disgusting, high pressure sales to the grieving, nickle and dime you to death....oh, that's their business model! I would not be caught dead in this place.
