Cashiers don't know their own prices. Attempted to correct them that the website CLEARLY STATES 3 AND UNDER ARE FREE and yet every time, I'm charged. This has happened twice now. I emailed the park district to get someone's attention but was ignored. Don't bother going. There are PLENTY of other FREE beaches nearby that won't steal your money because high school students don't want to follow their own website. The stuff not works, they get $40 money just for looking
I have never seen in my life such ill-mannered people as those who work here. How bad was their treatment of us. We went inside and paid. It was cold, and there were no sand games for the children. We asked to import our money after ten minutes, and they refused to take our money back and treated us as if we had done something wrong or a crime. What racists they are. Just because they saw that we were from other nationalities and our language is not American, they did not listen to our request.
Great carnival fest there in Wauconda! Complete with CERT staff.
