I used Phenix for transferring the deed of land in Maine as an out of state buyer purchasing from an out of state seller. Stephanie at Phenix was great, answered all my questions promptly and had us closed within about two weeks.
Phoenix title has helped me for over a decade - with many complicated, purchases, land decisions and multi unit sales. Far overdue, this five star rating. Thank you all!
If I could give zero stars I would. They showed up for closing with no check for us and said they don't know how that got missed. They "will mail it next week after the holiday"... I can't speak for everyone but myself - but imagine any other seller would be upset as well to be closed on house and waiting for money.

I've now done 4 real estate closings with Phenix Title and couldn't be happier. They are always on top of every thing, and they have never caused any delays. When we were doing a refinance and there was an old issue on the deed I tried 3 other Title companies and they said it would take a couple of months to straighten out. Phenix took care of it in two weeks and they were less expensive. Don't waste your time, tell your mortgage company to use Phenix!
