My 12 year old son had a wonderful experience spending some of his birthday money at Phenix Knives! He originally wanted to forge his own knife at the Renaissance Festival. Unfortunately, the power went out while we were there and he couldn’t do it. He was super disappointed. But, Dad came through and found Phenix Knives, which is about an hour’s drive from us. Fantastic experience for our homeschool group field trip. We combined a Blacksmith Demo Tour with Cowboy and then the kids made a small knife. Well worth the time and $. Cowboy tailored his talk to our current unit of study and emphasized other scholarly subject. Very informative!
