Over priced quoted $2,000 to cut and remove a tree from my property. This included grinding the stump. Called another tree service who did a fantastic job for$1,250. Pays to shop around to avoid inflated prices.
Just yesterday, Phelps took a giant cottonwood tree out of our backyard. A large portion of the tree was over my and my neighbor’s house. They deconstructed my fence to get the trucks in the yard, and put the fence back together just as they found it. They also did a great job grinding the stump, which was not easy because there were a lot of obstructions around the tree trunk. The site was completely cleaned before they left site. We had a large, dead hack berry tree next to our deck that needed to be removed. After getting quotes from four providers in the Louisville area, we decided to use Phelps, as they provided us with the lowest, written quote to remove the large, dead tree with a crane. We agreed to wait more than 4 weeks for the service to be performed because of the cost savings.
