I was rushed to a financial decision with me having no insurance. Cost me a fortune for lol surgery. The nurse said in post op the doctor made a mistake on my left eye . No one would acknowledge it. Both eyes have given me issues from after about 2 weeks of surgery. They looked at me like 3 times afterwards but said they didn't see anything wrong. Now 1 1/2 years after 12k, my eyes are pretty much back to like they were except with other issues. Kind of sad for this ol senior...
It's been a year since my cataract surgery with Dr Phelen. My eyes are doing super well. I'm incredibly happy with them. I can't encourage enough for people to go see these guys. Dr. Phelan along with the staff at Abilene Eye Institute are super wonderful. The environment is amazing. Again! Thank you Abilene Eye Insitute
I had a very disappointing experience with Jessica Sumrall. Her bedside manner was extremely poor. She never smiled or made any effort to make me feel comfortable during the visit. I felt rushed from the moment she walked in. She frequently talked over me while I was trying to explain my concerns and did not allow me to finish speaking. When I asked questions about my health, they were either dismissed or left unanswered, leaving me feeling unheard and uninformed. Very inviting folks who care for their patients. My former doctor retired, but I'm sure we'll get the new one trained all right. I've been a patient here for 15 plus years, if I didn't like the folks and the way they treated me I would be going somewhere else. Thanks guys for doing business right.
