My experience with PHD equine has been fantastic! I've had Dr. Helinger treat my pony, Phoenix, at the farm I board at and she was incredibly kind to Phoenix, making sure that it was a good experience for her. The exam she conducted was very thorough and she really took her time with Phoenix, making sure to address all of my concerns. Needed a last minute lameness exam. I was able to be fit in the next days schedule. Left with optimism for positive outcome and expected time line for recovery. Dr Porter was detailed in explaining the current status and office staff was very helpful.
First trip here and it was everything my friends said it was! Excellent care, all the help were very friendly and professional, and Dr Porter gave the answers as he saw them. Explained it clearly and gave options. Never had anything shoved on me to do! Great experience, Ill be back!
Dr. Stephanie Helinger has attended both of my "health challenged" horses for the past 18 months and it is truthful to say that she saved both of them! Her assessments of both and subsequent diagnostics (lab, radiographs), modification of diets and the addition of the necessary medications have given me and my horses a level of comfort!
