Amazing pool, a 26 million dollar complex that the public can use from 8-10pm for $5.00 a day... wow, I am impressed by the collaboration between Pharr and UTRGV. If it takes 360 months (30 years) to pay for it at 0 intrest that's about 72,200 a month without any type of maintenance or employees...
The two hours they have open for lap swimming are perfect. It’s such a great way to get in a fun workout with the kids! The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, lifeguards are attentive and the lanes are well-maintained. I’m glad the community has access to such a nice space for swimming and fitness. :)
Perhaps the best place to go lap swimming but you have to pay $5 every single time you walk in. They call it a “day pass” but if you go again later in the day they make you pay it again. Just call it an entry fee at this point.
