I hired Phantom Mechanical to fix my Govee permanent light, which had stopped working in the middle section. The technician came out, inspected the issue, and quoted me $200 for the repair. He spliced the cable and completed the work around 10 PM, so I didn’t have a chance to fully test it that night. Later, I discovered that only half of the light string worked after the splice, and the rest would not display colors or themes properly.
