Horrendous club repair center that made me have to bring my club back in twice. One because they cut the shaft too short and then again because the epoxy in the club head came apart
15 years removed from the game(kids). Tried to get going again for a minute 2 years ago, but stalled. A lot has changed. A lot less irons these days. I went in expecting to walk out $2500 lighter with a new set. Explained my situation to Clayton. He said look, you basically have my bag. You just need to gap 210-240 yards. Follow me. He grabbed the right club. One swing cold 215. Problem solved. He disappeared and 5 minutes later I am set. While I waited, 3 separate people offered to help.
I brought my 6’5” teenage son in for a club fitting and left feeling disappointed by how little actual fitting took place. The fitter took a quick wrist-to-floor measurement with a yardstick, asked my son’s height, and immediately recommended adding an inch to his clubs. When I mentioned that his clubs were already +1”, the recommendation suddenly changed to adding another 3/4”.
