I recently went to Police and Fire Credit Union to close my late mother’s account and was shocked by how I was treated. I had all the proper documentation, but the staff refused to let me close the account. When I asked for clarification, the supervisor, Vonya became extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. She was raising her voice, pointing her hands in my face, while she was standing over me speaking loud and aggressively. I felt so disrespected and unsafe. This was always a fairly standard bank location. Nice people and never a bad wait. Now a visit here is like a hostage situation. I come in to do a simple money transfer and it takes minimum half an hour worth of waiting because of these stupid machines that need to be babysat by the tellers that could of had me out of here in 10 minutes. This isn’t a grocery store, it’s a bank!!! People are here to make secure safe transactions with their hard earned money. Not use up their whole lunch hour for a “quick” bank errand.
