Another pass. This place was a huge disappointment. I had heard great things about this place and was anxious to try it after shortly moving to Sunnyvale. The atmosphere was just plain weird. 95% of the people were over 60 years old and it was a Saturday night. The lightening was neither subtle or bright. It had me bugging. Our table was beside the kitchen. We were constantly distracted with the chaos of the wait staff being unorganized as they were unusually busy that night as of late. GARLIC KNOTS FOR SURE! not sure when the person above me went but when i went it was DELICIOUS! their garlic knots were to die for! and the clam chowder was creamy and good. and they had a special on a spinach salad and it was easily one of the best salads i had had in a long time. there was a lot of oldER people there but hey who goes to a restaurant to watch other people?? if you care about food and a friendly staff then its a great spot. i love supporting family owned businesses and i walked outta there with a hole in my ... read more

Rustic foor from a great family Italian that I have enjoyed since 1979 – I think Pezella's brings warmth, friendly, fun and food that is very good . Whether you enjoy the small Aglio Oglio pasta plate between courses, Pizza margarita, garlic prawns, Carmine sauce, garliky joy. The Staff lead by Pat and Vince along with Valari, Fernando, Diana and more. You will enjoy a good meal served to you by very friendly preople
great everything.... – Great is all i can say, the menu has it all,from seafood to pizza and all in between. the deco is just perfect, friendly yet romantic,and elegant. i heard a movie was recently shot at Pezzellas called my Valentine special.they on ocassion show it in the lounge on one of the T.V..s Had a great time loved the Osso Bucco,and the special garlic knots only at Pezzellas. also a great wine list. will be back very soon....
Refuse to admit mistakes – My wife and I were visiting this area. We ordered takeout from this restaurant and the lady prompted the food will be ready to pickup after 15 minutes. I arrived the restaurant 30 minutes later and the lady told me to wait for the kitchen to pack my food. While I was waiting, I gave her my credit card for payment. This payment process took much longer than it should. While waiting, I looked around the restaurant and saw many empty tables, they shouldn't be busy. (This was on Friday around 8:30PM.) ... read more
Bland food. Quaint Italian village decor – Food was bland. The spaghetti-ravioli combo plate was bland & was topped w/a plain tomato sauce that desperately needed seasoning & fresh herbs. The linguini w/clams was boring & clams did not taste fresh. The meatball appetizer was huge and ok. Service was nice. Decor was very quaint and relaxing, like being in an Italian village. But since food is my 1st priority, not ambience, I would not go back again.
