Absolutely useless! System online fails every time I request a repeat prescription Phone rings and rings. Nobody can take a call between 1-2. Surely staggered breaks could be considered

A telephone appointment was booked for me for 4pm on Friday 30/8. By 4.30 I had heard nothing, so phoned the surgery, to be told that the doctor was dealing with an emergency and was running late. I changed and delayed my evening arrangements, in anticipation of a later call ... but nothing. An hour and a quarter later I phoned again, to be told that the doctor had had a lot of patients (wow!) but I was still down for a call, but the receptionist didn't know when (or if). I wanted to share how impressed I am with The Kennet and Avon practice. I called and spoke with polite reception staff who organised a triage call on 2 occasions incredibly swiftly. I spoke and had a face to face appointment with ACP Amy who turned out to be a highly professional, considerate, effective and personable soul…..she gave a clear treatment plan and follow up plan….which I found incredibly reassuring. I feel Amy went above and beyond by taking my bloods there and then so that I didn’t need to return on another day... read more

by far the worst surgery i have ever been with. i have been trying to get numerous appointments for months and all i’ve been told is that i could have a phone call appointment, some times ending up me having to go to swindon’s emergency department. i rang them the other day and the woman on the phone was so rude and told me the wrong information and sent me on a wild goose chase to swindon and chippenham when chippenham doesn’t even cover pewsey. the most useless bunch of people i’ve ever ever met. i cannot wait to change su... read more
