When our cat became seriously ill, we were unable to get an appointment with his regular veterinarian. We also tried two other veterinary hospitals who were booked up, but we were directed to call PetsVet in Gilroy. After explaining the situation to the receptionist on the phone, she was able to get us in immediately. When we arrived she treated us with respect and efficiency even though it was a very busy day. Today I went to there counter to ask where the pet meds isle was located, like asking the pharmacy at a target. The two women scoffed and told me to find a PetSmart employee. I feel that is unacceptable
The vet was very thorough and transparent in his exam. Only 3 stars for: - super long intake, got seen by the vet more than 30 min after appointment - refusing to give me even a month’s supply of Galliprant (which my dog had been on for almost 2 years) without a blood test when I kept telling them I was hard pressed for time and I was happy to schedule the blood test for the following week, because I had to drive to a specialty vet appt with one of my cats in SAC, a 3h drive, for which I was getting to run late - they finall... read more

I had a wonderful experience at PetsVet hospital. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I received a lot of valuable knowledge on how to properly care for my pets, which I truly appreciate. It’s clear that everyone there genuinely cares about the well-being of our furry friends.
