I went to this location to get medicine for my fish, itsy. i asked for help and the girl working went to get her manager. he was white with short black curly hair i do not know his name. but i showed him a picture of my fish and instead of being kind or helpful his first words were “it’s dead.” i care about my fish a lot. just as much as i care about my cat. those are not words you want to hear when you are trying to help your sick pet. it was honestly just so hurtful and disrespectful. So disappointed with this Petsmart and I will never revisit. I stopped in to check out their bettas and upon reaching the “betta wall” I noticed there weren’t very many to choose from. Looking closer, I noticed that so many of them were very close to dying. The containers were dirty, some laying on their sides on the top and bottom, one with a terrible case of swim bladder, etc. so unbelievably awful that they would have these beautiful fish and not take care of them appropriately. I bought two snails for the aquarium today. I released it into the aquarium at home, and one snail remained floating on the surface. I'll wait. Then I took it out, pushed the lid of the house with my fingernail, and it fell off. The sink was empty inside, and I smelled the disinfectant. It's a great business, scamming customers for $4.

Almost every single fishtank on the bottom racks had dead decaying fish in there. Clearly left for longer than a few days. Nobody ever asked if I needed help. The rest of the store seemed ok, inventory and shelves seemed kept up and tidy. Floors clean. Multiple folks walking dogs in and out without much concern for each other though
