Zero stars!!!! Where to start…we had an appointment for grooming our 5 years old golden retriever at 1.30pm. On the online form I noted that our dog doesn’t like loud noises and on site I told them that he is an anxious dog. We checked it, they put a leash on him. I chose this location because it was more affordable than other grooming salons, and their website states that the staff is trained to work with anxious dogs using positive reinforcement. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. When I checked in, I reminded the receptionist that my dog has anxiety. I had also included this information in the online booking, where PetSmart specifically asks about behavioral concerns and special handling instructions.
