The caring pet shop From the first time I have stepped foot into the pet store, I was welcomed warmly. The owner loves animals and it shows. Kathy treats them as if they were her own. My two Toy Fox Terriers, Susie and Randolf enjoy going there for grooming. The groomers are wonderful and you can tell they love what they do. I highly recommend The Pets Purrfurr Shoppe to anyone who wants loving care for their pets.
Dog park In defense of Kathy . I was there at the park the day of the dog neuter conversation and Kathy was merely talking about the health benefits of neutering. It was the other woman, Lori, who was obnoxious and Kathy did tell her to stop. The playground is really fun.
good park b ut small I have been to this play group/small park once. It was very nice, dogs were carefully watched and monitored by their owners. It is a bit small, but great to see how your dog will do with other dogs in this type of setting. Another person wrote about having problems with not having her dog neutered, the 2 other huge dog parks we frequent, have a rule that all dogs HAVE to be neutered in order to play at the park, unless they are puppies. Over all I think it was a nice place.
Nice little shop & smart owner I went to this shop to have my dogs nails trimmed. The minute we walked in she said what breed of dog he was. We actually had no clue since we rescued him but she brought out all these books and showed us that he is this different breed of dog. She cut his nails without him giving a fuss and we went on our way. They also do a doggy playground type of thing in their back fenced in area. I have never done it before but it sounds interesting. One of the outstanding aspects of this small business is the knowledgeable staff. the owner is a valuable resource when it comes to recommending the correct food for your pets particular needs. She has dedicated her life to enhancing the life of nay pet that visits her store. Try the playgroup, its well run and monitored, The bath your own dog service is great, convenient and fun to do. The pets purrfurr but do the owners? I took my dog to the dog playground in the back and it has a very nice baby pool for my dog to swim in (he loves that) BUT I have a male dog who is not fixed and I was hassled by the playground leader and her friend about having him fixed. It's a personal choice for my husband and I and we are not sure if we will breed him. We politely told them that but they continued on.
