Best Pet Store In Town! Great store for the conscientious parrot owner. I used to shop at Jungleland in Mundelein, but since they closed their doors, this has been my #1 hotspot. They have a small, but quality-oriented selection of parrot food that is hard to find anywhere else (like Harrison's and Fanta brands). The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Can't comment on dog and cat supplies since I own neither, but the supply selection for birds is excellent. Definitely worth the drive!
My dog loves it here This small pet store is owned by two women. They don't sell crafty items but do sell food, treats and toys. They have grooming onsite but she isn't there every day.
Quality Fantastic, knowledgeable staff that makes wonderful recommendations and advice about food, treats, and toys! I drive miles out of my way to frequent this store, and my 2 great danes are always excited to visit, too!! I continue to recommended Pets General Store to my pet owning friends.
Highly Recommended Quality pet food, treats, supplies and toys at affordable prices. Products for dogs, cats, birds & smaller beasties. Nice selection of hypo-allergenic foods & treats - difficult to find elsewhere. Owners/staff are knowledgeable, friendly & helpful; willing to order items if not in store. Excellent Puppy & Dog Obedience classes provided on site by experienced trainer. Grooming services also available. Pets are welcome in the store.
