Our sweet 15 year old dog took a sudden turn, and we knew it was time to let him go. A vet's office wasn't his favorite place, and we couldn't schedule an appointment at home soon enough for his comfort. We are so grateful Pets at Rest has a calm peaceful space we could go to. Dr. Scudder was so kind and patient as we said goodbye to our doggo.
Dr. Dawnetta and her team were so wonderful. The end of life process is such a difficult thing to go through, and they made it peaceful and calm. Dr. Dawnetta clearly cares about the families she works with; she took ample time getting my cat acclimated to her presence, and was very gentle, taking the time to explain each step that would come next, and pausing often to let us ask questions or gather ourselves. Dawnetta was wonderful, supportive, and so kind to my cat and the entire process was more humane and peaceful than I could have imagined. I cannot recommend them enough.
