Wonderful fish and animals Great very clean pet shop. I have been buying fish here for at least 10 yrs. The tanks are gorgeous and the fish are so much healthier than WalMart,Country Max, and Petsmart. If there is ever any problem with a certain tank, they won't sell any fish from there. The other stores don't have the knowledge to know if fish are sick and just sell them anyway. Have even bought some furry animals over the years too. They have also done great.
Didnt like at all I agree the store is clean. yes lighting should be dim. The person who was working wasnt helpful at all. He rather do other things and not talk to customers. I dont like the idea there is no insurances on the animals. I bought $40.00 worth and fish and they all died by the next morning. There was other fish in my tank and they are still alive. The fish I bought home at ick. I treated and still lost them.
Pets-A-Plenty is first rate This is really a terrific pet store. I have been buying fish here for years and I've never had one die yet. So unlike other stores I've been to where at least 25% of the fish die within 24 hrs. The fish tanks at the store are extremely clean, as are the cages for all of the animals. The other reviewer was right - no pet store smell because the owners keep the place so clean. Yes, the lights are dim, but that is for the benefit of the animals. Great pet shop that really cares about their pets. We should have purchased our dwarf hamster from pets a plenty. We went to a chain pet store and received all the wrong information on how to care for it and what to feed it. The workers there were so nice and helpful. The store is kept so clean and didn't have that pet store smell you sometimes expect. Prices were much more reasonable too. I will drive the extra 15 miles to shop here.
Don't go here This place has poor lighting, and the animals are in cages way to small for them. They are dirty, and the animals don't look happy. Overall, poor place. Don't go there.
