Petro thank you for sending Dan to service my unit my house was cold and my thermostat had stop working it was lock up ...I replaced the two battery in the unit but was unable to make correcting the setting so I called for service...Dan arrived an took at the unit within in two min. had it going...it was program over 10 years ago never had a problem an I did not know what to do or forgot what to do because had lock up....Dan showed me how to program the unit if it lock up ...inspected the unit and heat unit made my family ve... read more

I’ve had a terrible experience with Petro Home Services. On the coldest day of the year (below 0°), my oil tank ran completely empty even though their system showed I was at 80%. Their numbers don’t add up. After my last bill showed ~80 gallons remaining, they supposedly delivered 120 gallons (which should have put me around 200 gallons in a 275-gallon tank). As a full-service company, they roll in various costs into the price of gas (labor, customer service, financing). They are fairly upfront about this. I have been with them for a year, and I admit I find them extraordinary. I have been going through some financial difficulty but I have never received anything but flexibility and compassion from them. I've recently come to realize that I've been paying significantly more for fuel through Petro compared to other providers. This has been going on for quite some time—possibly years—and it's frustrating to see such a lack of transparency in their pricing. As a long-time customer, I expected fair and competitive rates, but that clearly hasn't been the case. Disappointed and reconsidering my options.

Brent, tech 44, came out to my parents' home within 24 hours of calling during the first heatwave of this summer. Our HVAC unit has a leak that is hard to find yet he got us up and running for the time being. He was extremely pleasant, communicated each step of the way and had a great attitude even in this extreme heat.
