I would not recommend buying live bait from this location. I’ve purchased Smitty’s live bait here several times, and the quality has been very inconsistent. It seems like the bait is not being regularly checked or replaced, and bad batches are left on the shelf instead of being removed. At $8.50 for only 12 pieces, this is not exactly cheap bait. On Saturday, August 8, around 1:00 PM, I purchased a couple of containers of smitty's bait. I was in a hurry and unfortunately did not check them carefully before leaving. When I looked at them later, I discovered that one container had worms that were all dead, while the other was completely decomposed and unusable. I returned the next day around 1pm to explain the situation and ask for a refund.
