Flat rate $28 for a 20 lb propane tank pretty good way to rip people off. Topping off a half tank for a BBQ , guy wouldn't even split the price.
Propane bottle refills are $28. Even if you only need $15 dollars worth, you will pay for gas you do not get! I walked away with my bottle unfilled and they also lost out on $200 worth of diesel sales. Moronic? If you ever wonder why the world is a mess here is a prime example...extreme greed and taking advantage of people!
I would be careful getting your propane tanks filled here. I usually get mine done at Costco, I know how long it takes to fill and how heavy it is when it's done...I can usually barely lift the larger propane tanks. So I had mine filled for the flat rate there one day, and when it was done, I noticed it was much lighter than usual and finished quicker.. so I highly suspect they didn't fill it nearly all the way. I didn't question them as I didn't feel at all comfortable doing so.
