There’s something about getting out of Toronto that makes even a gas station feel like a treat. This Petro Canada in Huntsville was empty when I pulled up, clean when I walked in, and painless from start to finish. Prepaid at the pump, filled up, used the washroom and it was spotless. No lineup, no waiting, no somebody hovering two inches behind you because there’s twelve people queued up for the same pump. Just a clean, quiet, easy stop the way it should be. Unacceptable experience. I arrived well before closing, yet the employee said the store was already closed and refused service. This is misleading and frustrating for customers who plan their stops based on posted hours.
