A must stop, my favourite gas station! They have the best chicken ever and the most delicious carrot cake. I have been told you can even order a whole carrot cake from there. Although I live hours away I’m always thinking about my next adventure to the Hyde Creek Petro-Can
Stopped here for 30L of 91 octane on August 11, 2025 and immediately noticed there was a contamination issue with the fuel. I noticed immediately that there was loss of power, a check engine appeared as well as frequent misfiring. By the time I got to Port Alice, it actually stalled outright. I will now need to drain the tanks' contents to determine whether it's contaminated with diesel, water or something else.
