So the first time we ate there, we were impressed. We got the same oder tonight but to go: two gyro sandwiches. Mine was chicken, and I should have inspected it while I was there, because when I got home, the amount of chicken was half what I got when we ate in the restaurant. Half. Hands down the freshest, tastiest tabbouleh I’ve experienced including all my travels in the Middle East. What a place! The lamb and the chicken kebabs were perfectly succulent. Wish I lived here so I could make Petra my neighborhood haunt. Does anyone know a good real estate agent?
For our group of 6, the sandwiches were just okay: the chicken was dry and the lamb was tough, the pita was different. They gave a large helping; full plate piled high for $18. More unfortunately the $29.99 combo platter was questionable on flavor and price. I gasp when I saw the smal platter of food arrive.
