My husband and I bought a mini schnauzer from Petland on July 18, 2025. She was sick before I even took her home — I just didn’t know it yet. Within 1 day, she was diagnosed with Giardia. With in 36 hours, she was coughing so hard we rushed her to an ER vet. Diagnosis: pneumonia, incubating for 5–10 days before purchase. Another Petland puppy bought the same day? Very unhappy. I love the puppy, but I can’t say I love the establishment. Bought the puppy in June. Paperwork showed he was getting over a respiratory infection. They took care of that. Puppy was also advertised as registered. Went to register him and it said the litter was over subscribed. Contacted AKC and after about 4 weeks they got back to me and said the previous owner didn’t register any males for that litter?
