cool mix breeds I bought puggle from this store and he is a cool little critter. He is a little inperfect like all living things but it's the inperfections that make him more endearing. I would buy anther mix breed from this store there are some unique ones.
VERY EXPENSIVE, NO EXPERENCE, NO HELP I have been in this store several times. Besides their very high prices, they don't seem to know anything about the products they sell. All they want to do is try to sell sell sell, anything. For this reason I don't care for any pet store that works on comission. My wife bought a filter system that doesn't work well on our aquarium, we go back in and imform us we bought the wrong size. not new owner, old owner back , "o joy" The owner of this store has already owned this store. He didn't take care of it before why should he do it this time? They will tell you they don't sell puppies from puppy mills but they do. You can check this by calling the u.s. humane society. This store is even more costly than when he owned it before. Objective realism Realistically this is the best place to buy animals in Joliet. If this store was in a more affluent suburb Iâd probably only give it three stars. Iâve been shopping there for years so Iâm cutting them a break. It is an older store but its been renovated a few times. The newly expanded saltwater fish section is pretty nice and their freshwater fish selection has got much better. Some saltwater fish there are cheaper than you can find online. clean up your act Whomever writes and good review for this place must be a friend of the owner. This place gives any good store a bad name. They are the most expensive store in the area. They don't take care of their pets and would say anything to you, to get you to spend money. Clean up up store and take better care of all your animals, or start selling bugers and fries instead. Your a disgrace!
New owners Why do people Lie? I feel I need to rebut the review "Why reopen just to sell it." She has her facts about the owners completely wrong. I am a friend of the family who owns the store. First of all there is not just one owner its owned by a family. And Belinda one of the owners is there almost everyday, and if she is not there her brother Paul is. Excellent selection of healthy puppies I enjoy shopping at Petland although their prices are higher than most stores, they are clean. One thing I don't particulary care for is being followed around by an extremely over helpful employee. I do understand that they work on commission, but I don't like to be followed.
