There is absolutely no reason to ever purchase a dog. Shelters are full.
I was in Pet Land today and completely disgusted. My son and I were playing with a puppy in one of the rooms and I saw a golden retriever in his cage poop and then proceeded to eat it! I don’t know why they don’t clean those cages out for those dogs. I immediately wanted to leave because I felt nauseous. I told the girl working that we were done and she proceeded to tell the puppy that “she doesn’t want to play with you” she repeated this twice! Super rude! Stop selling dogs & cats. Do what Petco does, they host no kill shelter events in their stores and promote pets for adoption. STOP PUPPY MILLS!
BEFORE you buy a dog, you need to Google where you think you want to get it from. Find out where they got the dogs from. See if you can get the contact information. Ask what they do with the puppies that don't sell and get too big for where they have them.
