We had an absolutely magical stay at the intriguing petit ermitage. It was our second time here after two years, and everything was equally incredible as last time. The atmosphere is absolutely iconic. It is the place to stay in West Hollywood.

I’ve stayed here before and enjoyed it, but this visit was handled poorly. After significant hallway noise until 5am, I requested to move rooms the following day and was told it was possible, but there were no updates into the evening and staff became hostile when I followed up. I chose to stay one additional night and attempted to cancel the remaining two nights through Expedia, who processed my payment. I had an extremely frustrating experience just trying to get basic information from the front desk. The front desk staff member repeatedly pretended not to hear my questions, kept transferring me from line to line, and each time the automated system sent me back to the same person, who was clearly annoyed and unwilling to help. Instead of answering simple questions, I was stuck in a loop between the robot system and a front desk agent who seemed irritated that I was calling at all. Petit Ermitage in West Hollywood delivers one of the most memorable boutique hotel experiences I have ever had, and it absolutely deserves a full 5-star review.
