I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cannon and the team at Petfolk. I brought my pup in on a Saturday after several days of illness with no improvement, even after a visit to his regular vet a few days prior. Dr. Cannon immediately made me feel like we were in good hands. She was incredibly thorough and walked me through what she was seeing, what she was concerned about, and why she was recommending each step in his care. Unfortunately my experience was not great for the first time visit. long story short, long wait, wasn’t seen, dog was anxious in the room waiting to long. I left and walked out. They did apologize on my way out the door. Didn’t offer a new appointment i suggested it but changed my mind. I felt in the moment heated And my conversation with support sounded more like a nuisance than support as if interrupted there day. Giving benefit of doubt. I’m sure others will have better luck than my dog and me.
We had an amazing experience with Dr Cannon and her staff. We brought our cat in on a Saturday afternoon when she was very sick with vomiting and lethargy. We didn’t know what was wrong. They ran many tests and determined that she was suffering from pancreatitis. This was all very new to us and it was so scary. They advised us about what meds to give her as well as a new prescription cat food. I took my dog Remi to have her ear checked out and we both had a wonderful experience. Dr. Cannon and her staff are very kind and professional. They were upfront and transparent about pricing and explained everything throughout the appointment. They provided plenty of treats for my dog which helped her calm down and get more comfortable.
