I brought my dog here because they advertise urgent care both online and at their facility. My dog had an open wound, minor but he was bleeding and trembling in pain and fear. It was not something that could be left uncovered and exposed as he was not able to walk on it. When I arrived, the staff first asked if I had an appointment. Very nice and professional staff. They 💯 % care about our furbaby and we are so grateful to all of the nurses and doctors there.
I had a terrible experience at Petfolk in August 2025. My dog showed signs of a possible stomach obstruction after vomiting blood, but instead of urgent action, the vets had me “wait and watch” for days, despite knowing obstructions can be deadly. X-rays weren’t sent to the radiologist when I requested, and I was later falsely told I had denied it. I had never heard of Petfolk before, but when I had a stray cat at my door that needed medical attention immediately they were the closest people open on a Saturday. When I got there, they were really full and about to close. I was desperate for help for the cat, as he was not doing well. Mara (nurse/tech) at the Lake Buena Vista office helped me with the cat and was amazing.
