Husband and I stopped here for lunch on our way back to Salina. The atmosphere is wonderful! Reminds me a lot of a restaurant we have in Salina. Our server Michael was excellent! Very attentive and friendly. The food tasted better than I could have expected! I got the nutty buddy burger, I love peanut butter on a burger but had never had fried egg on there too; it was phenomenal! They are investigating updating their rye whiskey selection. Everyone friendly, will visit again when I am in town.
I took my wife to Petes last night (8.22.26) and it did not dissapoint me. I had a Sirloin, baked potato, veggie, salad, and texas toast. It was really good food. The service was good as well, our waitress Teanna was attentive and pleasant. I left there happy that I drove the 35 miles to get there and would do it again. This is not a 5 star big city place, but its good food in a comfortable atmosphere for a decent price. If you are thinking about it, I say do it.
