I take all of my lawn mowers, tillers, etc. to Pete's. He has the best prices and knows his stuff.He ordered a factory carb. and it was bad. He got a new one and replaced it for free! He has my business!
Don't do it! – I had a very bad experience with Pete. I needed professional help with a lawmower that stalled repeatedly. I called Aurora and another place, and they both had 2 week turnarounds. Pete could see me tomorrow. I gave him my mower, and he called me back a couple of days later, and here's where things went wrong. He told me to come pick it up, but he wouldn't tell me the problem on the phone. He was more than gruff, almost rude, and told me I was asking too many questions. Great work and service – Pete was able to turn around my repair in one day on a Sunday when time was critical. Not only did he fix my problem, but he patiently answered many questions about what caused the issues, how to avoid them in the future, etc. It looks the posts here for lawn mower repairs, but I brought in a pressure washer and Pete had no problem with it, either. It was a great experience from start to finish, and I'm glad I've found someone trustworthy and reliable in the area.
Fantastic repair done quickly. – I agree with the previous reviewers that said Pete is a bit gruff. However, he fixed my mower within three hours and it is now running as well as it was when I first brought it home from the store. I think the pricing was very reasonable as well. I will use him again any time I have lawn mower maintenance needs.
Best Lawn Mow Repair Guy – Had three lawn mowers to be repaired. Pete fixed them all in one afternoon. All three run great. If your lawn mower needs repair, go to Pete. He is knows his stufff. Showed me and explained all the details of the repairs he made to the lawn mowers. He fixes all sort of small engine reapairs. Great Customer Service.
Pete's Small Engine Repair – I took my 15-y/o MTD (Costco) mower in on a Friday afternoon. Pete warned me that he had several other mowers ahead of mine. He asked for the symptoms (wouldn't start; backfired) and that's all he needed. I told him I could change the oil and take care of the blade myself, and he respected my request to leave those items to me. Next time I'll let him do it all.
