As of May 2025 the property was for sale. The status of "temporarily closed" seems to be incorrect. This is a new startup restaurant and we stopped in on Saturday 6 May. The configuration has changed since the prior owners' under the name of Rooter's Roadhouse. Our dinner was fine, but it seemed as if the waitstaff had never actually worked in a restaurant before. We weren't advised of the dinner specials. Thankfully they were posted to FaceBook. I hope that this place succeeds, and wish them the best.
If you're ever in the area, don't miss Pete's Griddle! Prices are unbeatable, and more importantly the food is amazing. The weather outside was frigid but the staff couldn't have been more warm, friendly, and efficient. Come hungry, because you'll get served enough to fuel a whole day on the mountain slope! I had the biscuit and sausage gravy, and it was so good I went back the next day for pancakes. There's plenty of parking too, so you've got no excuse not to stop in on your next trip through Bethel!
The staff was awesome, very kind and accommodating. Food was fantastic, cozy & clean inside, will absolutely be coming back.
