Five star reviews are meant to be few and far between - Pete’s absolutely deserves every bit of it. My wife and I sat at their outdoor patio, overlooking the water and the multicolored European-inspired Capitola Village. Pete's is a bit of a staple in Capitola, a great reservation if you're looking to have a meal with a beautiful view of Capitola's beach and the pier. The service was nothing less than outstanding, with the front of house and our server being the very model of friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They even had blankets available for my partner as we were sitting outdoors. We got the squid pasta in tomato sauce, lobster roll, wagyu burger and creamy kids pasta, all very refreshing (not too heavy) and delicious. The patio seating got a good view of the river flowing toward the ocean and the colorful Capitola Village.
Not a great variety of protein options in entrees. Pasta wasn't fresh. Dishes are in general overpriced.
