Dr. Ulmer is my doctor and he is very caring. His nurse Kayla is very attentive and always has a smile on her face. They work so well together. Dr. Ulmer goes above and beyond for his patients and he truly cares for the problem. He is the best doctor!
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the problem is the corporation that runs the show. The doctor sent me to their "lab" in Kerrville for blood work. They tried to charge me almost $2,000.00 dollars for routine blood work. After I complained to the doctor about Peterson trying to rip me off he said I could have the blood work done on the office. They charged me $464.00 for that blood work and then only gave very limited information on the results. Quest charges about $70 - $90 for the same thing and you get all your resu... read more

They DO NOT help veterans. They should be clear up front. Waste of time. Waited a year for a referral for surgery, and they still failed.
Dr. Sally is a good listener and thorough. He spent time to get all the information and asked questions, did blood work and explained all testing results. Changed a couple of meds as necessary. Highly recommend.
