Problems with siding install Would not use this contractor again. Had him remove old siding and install Louisiana Pacific Smart Siding on my lake home and garage in 2011. After two months the siding was buckling, he blamed the manufacture for the problems. Investigation by the manufacture identified improper installation and no gaping required in the installation instructions. When identified to Peterson Contracting he would not return calls.
