Medical staff are good, but the guy on reception was so rude! Others complaining to. There's no need for it. 7th September 2025.
Dropped into the Parkinson’s clinic yesterday for medications advice. I did not have an appointment and expected to be asked to return another time. However the staff were able to conduct enquiries and I waited a few minutes, before the Geriatric Consultant Dr Rachel Powis came to speak to me. We sorted the problem, and I was able to go to the chemists to collect my husband’s Parkinson’s meds. The calm and friendly atmosphere amazes me. Excellent & efficient care for my 4 year old after he fell off his bike. Minimal waiting time and what I appreciated most - all the staff took their time to speak directly to my son, at his level of understanding, helping him to feel comfortable and safe in a scary situation. Thank you so much.
I went there today with a leg injury. I can honestly say, quite short waiting time. I was treated with respect and plenty of TLC. Thank you nurses who took care of me. Sonja did a wonderful job in fixing my leg. Thank you ladies.
Went to UTC on Thursday and was treated with such kindness, compassion and care by the staff - thank you to Jeremy and Beth (apologies if I have got the names wrong!!) for being so lovely and for the thorough assessment, I was very impressed by their standard of care + knowledge! I’d doubly like to add that Beth’s bedside manner with the little girl just before me was amazing!! She knew just the right things to say to settle the family’s nerves - feel like that deserved credit in its own right :)
