At the end of June, 2019, we entered into a contract with Petersen Dean to install a new roof and solar panels on our house in San Mateo. Petersen Dean advertised that it could install the system in 2019 to ensure that we would be eligible for a 30% tax credit on the solar panels. IS PETERSEN-DEAN ROOFING GOING OUT OF BUSINESS???? I recently had my roof replaced in October 2019 and paid the entire invoice. Two weeks ago I received a Mechanic's Lien from Petersen-Dean's sub-contractor that did the work BUT WERE NOT PAID!!! What this means is I am on the hook for the bills that Petersen-Dean did not pay. I can only imagine that this happened because: 1) Petersen-Dean INTENTIONALLY did not pay their bill and wanted to make their client pay. 2) Petersen-Dean is GOING OUT OF BUSINESS and can not pay it! Company is bankrupt and I can't get a hold of anyone for warranty issues.
