Unfortunately, I personally wouldn’t recommend seeing this therapist. I attended one session with her, and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Maybe she was having an off day, but she came across as very cold, un-empathetic, and judgmental.

Laura and I worked together for several months on a particular issue I desired breakthrough in. Her personality and manner of working with clients seems subtle and non-invasive. She was patient and listened well. Laura did a good job asking leading questions that prompted me to talk through my thoughts and feelings. Laura may seem retiring and even unorganized at times BUT she gets great results. She has led my spouse and I to life changing insights and deep healing of fears and anger’s. I highly recommend her.

Disclosure - I am a therapist/LCSW myself who had done several rounds of EMDR before this, and require some engagement on the part of my therapist to ask questions/actively engage as well as engage with my desire to process identity/larger belief systems and differences, acknowledge systemic impact, and be open to feedback from me in the process.
