I have long been a fan of classical music. Therefore, having a symphony orchestra in my neighborhood is a gift. My mother took me to the Petersburg Symphony when I was young and I now enjoy taking my family to experience the sights and sounds of classical music on stage. Hearing a symphony live provides a completely different experience than listening to a recording.
