floors look great. we had a mix of stuff going on, some old hardwood that needed refinishing in the living room and dining room, and a hallway that needed new boards because previous owners had carpet stapled in pretty badly. OakPro installed hardwood on our stairs and it turned out really good. each step has a clean edge and the nosing pieces are fitted tight, no wobble or gaps. the stain matched the existing floor on the landing which was something we specifically asked for. they also did a light refinish on the upstairs hallway so everything flows together. the stairs feel solid when you walk on them which sounds obvious but our old carpet ones always felt kind of hollow. big improvement

They refinished our stairs and the difference is huge. The old finish was worn down to bare wood on the edges of each tread where everyone steps, and now they have this even satin coat that makes the wood grain pop .the risers got done too which I wasn't sure was included but it was looks like a different staircase

The floors turned out really nice and I keep finding myself just looking at them which is kind of silly but they have this warmth to them that makes the whole room feel different. The crew was in and out in I think two days for the install and they moved fast but it doesn't look rushed if that makes sense. There's one spot near the pantry where the board has this cool darker streak in the grain and I almost asked if it was a defect but no it's just natural variation. Stuff like that makes it feel real.

we had carpet over what turned out to be red oak. OakPro pulled up the carpet and the wood underneath was in decent shape but had some water stains by the bathroom door and a bunch of staple holes everywhere from the carpet padding. they filled all of that in and sanded it down and put a natural finish on it. the result is kind of wild because the wood has all this character to it, like knots and color variation that the carpet was just hiding for decades. the stain by the bathroom is gone, cant even find where it was. they ... read more
