62 year old male... I came to Dr. Chang with several eye issues. I had an acute cataract in one eye and a chronic cataract in the other eye, floaters both eyes and an epi-retinal membrane in one eye. When I first met Dr. Chang my vision was 20-50 in one eye and 20-80 in the other. Prior to being referred to Dr. Chang, I had no concept of eye surgery other than laser procedures. Suddenly I found myself scheduled for retinal detachment repair via scleral buckle/vitrectomy. I was waiting for surgery day when my initial symptoms seemed to destabilize/worsen; Dr. Chang mobilized and got me in the OR at MEEI the next day. He restored my vision and I'm thankful for his expertise.
