Servicing department requested I bring car in to investigate no function on steering wheel buttons that I reported to them as a fault. Car out of warranty but should not matter as I expected these buttons to continue functioning (under consumer law), not like a bearing or regular wear & tear item. Was charged $200 for the pleasure of allowing them to pretend to take an hour & a half to diagnose what I already knew, needs a new clock-spring. I am quite disappointed with Peter Stevens Motorworld. My 19 month old Nissan x trail ti e-power has had 3 breakdowns since they last serviced it. I booked it into Peter Stevens Motorworld service department to have my vehicle checked after the second 'e-power failure' breakdown and I was asked what time I would be bringing the car in, I said 8.45 and was then told that two mechanics would be set aside to check the fault codes and I was explicitly advised that it would not take long. We brought our last car 13 years ago at Peter Stevens and they have been looking after us ever since, so when it was time to trade up we did not hesitate to purchase our MG4 with them. Eric was terrific nothing was too much trouble, he was great. We will be going back for all our services as we did with our last car. Thank you Eric and the Peter Steven’s team.
Dropped in to the showroom today to look at buying a new car. The car I am most interested in apparently they don't stock anymore!! But I would have liked to look at the Kona that was in the showroom, but the unhelpful sales person told me I wasn't allowed to look at it as it was sold. I understand there would be some rules (if it had been a sold vehicle) but it was the delivery of the rules that was the problem.
